Early Registration Fee: $20.00 | After June 2nd: $30.00 Fee includes a light breakfast and boxed lunch. Respite Fee - Free: Free onsite companion services (respite) for persons with dementia. Pre-registration for this service is required by June 9, 2017

Description

The conference will deliver presentations designed to build on caregiver skills, boost confidence, and help reduce caregiver stress. We will have a special presentation on the Validation Method developed by Naomi Feil , The Validation Method is a holistic therapy for treating Alzheimer’s disease. It focuses on empathy and provides a means for Alzheimer’s patients to communicate. Participants will make breakout sessions choices at check in. Early registration starts at 8.00 am This year also we invite persons with mild cognitive impairment or early memory loss to join us. We will have sessions specially designed for you. You have a choice in how you live your life with Alzheimer's or other dementia. It is possible to live well with Alzheimer's by taking control of your health and wellness, and focusing your energy on the aspects of your life you find most meaningful.
