As a valuable benefit to our members, the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce has partnered with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to host Global Entry enrollment interviews at the Chamber office located at 445 Commerce Green Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas 77478 on May 21, June 26, July 23 and August 20, 2019 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler Program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter the United States through automatic kiosks at select airports, including George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).
To apply for Global Entry, individuals complete an online application and pay a $100 non refundable fee with each completed application. If approved, Global Entry membership is valid for five years. Global Entry members also enjoy benefits with TSA Pre-Check, which is a program that expedites traveler screening through TSA security checkpoints.
