Mayor Kuykendall

Mayor Tommy Kuykendall

Mayor Tommy Kuykendall was elected to office in May 2010.  Mr. Kuykendall, a lifelong resident of Fort Bend County, has resided in the City of Fulshear since 2000. Mr. Kuykendall was re-elected as the president of the Fulshear Development Corporation in July 2010 and previously served the City of Fulshear on the Fulshear Planning Commission from 2002 to 2010.  He has modeled his service to Fulshear and guides his daily decisions as Mayor on the slogan “Fulshear deserves the best.”

Mr. Kuykendall is a licensed Professional Engineer working as Vice President and Manager of CivilCorp, LLC’s Houston Branch providing civil engineering and surveying services to governmental, municipal and private clients.

The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Planning Division continues to educate and advocate for transportation, infrastructure and development programs throughout the region.  Acknowledging that a strong infrastructure is a prerequisite for cities and communities to thrive.  Details of upcoming seminars can be found at www.fortbendchamber.com
