Richard Stolleis accepted the position of County Engineer in May 2012. Stolleis brings over forty years of civil, municipal, hydraulic and construction engineering experience to the County. He has experience working for public agencies and in private business as a consulting engineer and, he brings to the county a broad variety of experience related to public works including long range planning; utility, drainage and infrastructure design; code compliance, and public works operations. The Fort Bend Engineering Department provides engineering services, including road and bridge engineering and inspections of construction projects throughout the County. The department also assures that developers and development within Fort Bend County.
