Second Mile Summer Open House (Lunchtime)

Description

Second Mile Mission Center will hold a summer open house on Wednesday, June 27 with three sessions available. Staff, board, and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and lead guided tours. The event is free and open to the public. A 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. session is geared toward health professionals interested in learning more about Pat McWaters Health Clinic at Second Mile. The 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. sessions are open to businesses, places of worship, families, and individuals. What does it look like to work with 40 to 50 families a day, as they receive nutritious food and resources to get out of poverty?
