An opportunity to address issues, share accomplishments, and look to the future of Fort Bend County public education. Dr. Lance Hindt, Superintendent of the Stafford Municipal School District, has dedicated 22 years to children and public education in Fort Bend County. He has served as a teacher, coach, supervisor, assistant principal, principal and assistant superintendent. Dr. Hindt is active in community, civic and professional organizations. Currently he is a member of the Texas Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Texas Association of School Administrators, Texas Association of Community Schools, Texas Association of Suburban/Mid-Urban Schools and is an active member of the Oyster Creek Rotary Club. He serves on the board of directors for Texas Association of Mid-Sized Schools, Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Education Division, ACHIEVE Fort Bend County and the Fort Bend Economic Development Council. Dr. Thomas Randle has been the superintendent of Lamar CISD since July 2001. Active in civic, community and professional organizations, he serves on numerous Boards, including Texas Association of School Administrators, Texas Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, Texas Academic Decathlon and the Texas Business and Education Coalition. He was selected for the Commissioner’s Cabinet of Superintendents, participant in the Public Education Visioning Institute, the Policy Committee on Public Education Information, an advisor for the Recommended High School Plan with the Texas Education Agency and appointed by the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House to the Select Committee on Public School Accountability.
Charles E. Dupre was unanimously approved in April 2013 by the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees as Superintendent of Schools for the state’s seventh largest school district. With a passion for serving children and young adults, Dupre has invested many hours in shaping the future of others through his role as mentor, Sunday school teacher, camp counselor, and friend. Serving as superintendent of Pflugerville ISD since 2006, Dupre's commitment to developing capable young people has been supported by his background in financial management.
