Description
An exciting family fun day providing focused on educating and empowering others about the leading developmental disability in the United States - autism. 7,500 fans and supporters, Hope For Three, County Judge Bob Hebert, all 18 City Mayors, 300 volunteers and the Sugar Land Skeeters, host over 400 family members from the autism community to a day full of friendship and baseball. Volunteers “buddy” up with a child prior to the game and during this time, parents and caregivers enjoy a social hour in the company of other adults; a rare occasion for many, a first-time opportunity for most. 700 volunteers and family members march around the field for an Autism Awareness Parade before Judge Hebert and City Mayors join on field to read a Proclamation of support recognizing April as Autism Awareness Month…then, it’s PLAY BALL! Numerous volunteer, sponsorship and underwriting opportunities available. Tremendous exposure for supporters. For more information, visit hopeforthree.org/strike-out-autism or call 281-245-0640.
