Keep Sugar Land Beautiful, The City of Sugar Land, and Town Square invite you to join us for Sugar Land?s Earth Day Celebration, Reduce Reuse Recycle & Rock, on Saturday, April 16, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the Plaza at Sugar Land Town Square. Rock with us to live performances by Vocal Trash, an international high energy band at 2:15 pm and 4:00 pm. Texas Snakes & More reptile shows will entertain and educate at 1:15 pm and 3:10 pm. Local organizations will host interactive games, demonstrations, and displays for you to learn more about recycling, upcycling, gardening, clean water, water conservation, bees, butterflies, reptiles, clean air, nature appreciation and much more! Keep Sugar Land Beautiful will accept cell phones and eyeglasses to be recycled and reused. Proshred of Houston will provide complimentary onsite secure paper shredding, in the City Hall Parking Lot from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. ProShred secure personnel will remove the paper from your vehicle and shred your documents. Participants must remain in your vehicle, for your safety, at all times and may not be able to watch your documents be shredded. No walk-ups will be allowed.
